Results of public consultation
As you know, our initial consultation ended in October 2022 after we received more than 1,000 completed surveys and comments. Thank you to all the local residents, commuters and businesses who had their say.
We are now reviewing all of this helpful feedback and incorporating it into the ongoing capacity study work. It’s been really useful to hear the different ways that people would like to use the area and this is informing decision making as we move forward.
If you’d like to hear the results of the consultation process, Winchester City Council’s Cabinet Committee: Regeneration is meeting at 2pm on Thursday 9th March 2023, in the Walton Suite, Guildhall, Winchester to hear an update on the progress of the Station Approach project – including the findings from the public consultation, and you would be most welcome to attend.
Spaces are limited and we understand that these Committee meetings occur in working hours, so if you are unable to attend in person you can either watch the live video stream via youtube.com/WinchesterCC during the meeting or catch up at your convenience by watching the YouTube video recording which is made available shortly afterwards.
If you’d like to attend in person to observe or speak at the meeting you can do so by registering with our Democratic Services team at least 3 working days before the meeting – in this case, 4.30pm Friday 3rd March. To register, please email democracy@winchester.gov.uk.
Please click here for full instructions on how to attend this meeting in person. You will also be able to access the document pack to be discussed during this meeting using this link from 02 March 2023.
Thank you for being part of the discussions about this important area of our district, we look forward to welcoming you (via YouTube or in person) in March.
This page will be updated following the Cabinet meeting in March so please come back to find out more.
